Last year I threw away my pink Converse that I had for seven years. Seven years! Me and my choose were tight, yo. It was a such a saaaaaaad day that I couldn't bear to get new ones right way.
Well, I'm glad I waited because recently, I found out about custom Converse - where YOU (the customer) gets to be the designer.
Instead of going the boring solid color route, I funked it up a little by mixing and matching prints and colors.
I hand picked everything from the print of each side and the tongue, to the color of the lace and stitching, to the side lettering that reads Mars Bars - a family nickname, to the color of the side panels and even the lil metal circle things that the laces come through!
