So okay, I don't want to be a traitor to my generation and all but I didn't want to just fall out of bed, put on some baggy pants, take my greasy hair -ew- and cover it up with a backwards cap and wait for the guys to swoon.
Still wanting to express my 90's teenage angst, rebellion, grungeyness and general bad attitude but with a healthy dose of modernism and a touch of femininity, I managed to break out the baggy t-shirt sweater, put on some dope stripes, layer on the favorite lace blazer, mess up the 'do, and add war paint.
The ultimate 'I don't give a !@)#, but yeah I really do' look.
Wait a second, were the grungers the hipsters of that era?
Whoa.
Like, whoa.
I just blew my mind.
Where were you feeling/wearing/watching/listening to in the early 90's?
Part Grunge.
Part Dork.
It is what it is.
I am who I am.
