Off With Her Head!

I apologize for being unable to post my outfit from Sunday on Sunday.
Yesterday I fell asleep at 9:30pm. Yes, it's true, I'm a grandma. Dentures come out at 10!

Anyhoo, I wasn't feeling very Marie yesterday. You know when you have those days when you feel just kind of blah and think to yourself Is that what I really look like? Tried brightening up my tiredness with hot pinkness (which I normally feel fantabulous in!) but sadly, it didn't do the trick. :( Mostly my face was lookin rough, so thank goodness the queen of hearts said, Off With Her Head!

So I need more time to go through the Lil Palooza pictures, but in the meantime, the in between time, here are the morning after shots at a local Famers Market:

PS - I totally got the courage to sing in front of everyone last night - a FIRST! :)

Vote for Me.

I'm running for a political seat in my town, and today I was out and about campaigning...

Please, Vote for Me, Marie Applegate Prasad.

NOT.
Gawd, I'm such a dork!

But I will tell ya, I definitely felt like I was running for office in this get-up.

The outfit seemed to command more respect: I got such great service everywhere I went and people kept wanting to talk to me all day. It was so odd, interesting, and let's not forget FUN.
I felt - dum da dee dum - powerful!
So much so, that I just happened to get quite a bit of business today, which is fan-freakin-tastic because I'm a proud hardworking business owner - super score!

So, in conclusion, my Betty Booties, if you want something, dress like you mean it.

Whoa, I just re-read all that, and  the last sentence feels reminiscent of the speech that Cher from Clueless gave about partying with the Hatians. Ha!

Button Down Blue Top + Gray Pleated Skirt + White Macrame Flats

Blue jeans and sunflowers remind me of this. Remember that video?! She's got her shirt knotted up, denim cutoffs, dancing and singing with her wild hair in a field of sunflowers? Ah yes, good ole old school Mariah. This outfit is inspired by my innocent youth.

This goes out to you, Ms. Carey.
Hell, you too Mr. Carey, a.k.a Nick Cannon.

Plow-er por deeeee plow-er.
