Short White Lace Dress + Light Blush Sheer Long-Sleeve Top + Awesome Nude Shoes

I bought this lil lace dress a few months ago and tried to return it, but, ALAS, it was too late. :(

Not one to waste, I decided to accept this as fate...
As a challenge to test my mad skills, yo...
My reason to be proud to be an American...
The catalyst to get me to the top
Okay, I'm being dramatic and all, I know. I don't know half the stuff I'm talking about half the time.
Wait, what?!

I needed to hide the awkwardness of the frilly frock and play up the cuteness of the lace...oh what to do?!
It wasn't warm enough for a sweater, blazer or cardigan, but a sheer top - ah, YES.
Perfection!

PS - The dress is a little short and a little see-through so I'm wearing a blushing nude slip. Check out the slip below!

Best Beauty Travel Tip.

Hey y'all,
It's full blown travel season - hurrah!
BUT that means jumpin in and out of the ole aero-planes,
which means frequent altitude change / air pressure,
which means dry dull skin,
which leads me to....

ta da da da da DAAAA!

My fave homemade travel remedy:
The face refresher.

I'm going to show you how to make your very own for the road.
It's full of good stuff and is an instant picker upper!

Step 1:
Assemble your ingredients.

You'll need:

an empty travel size water spray bottle ,
(make sure it's 3oz or less if you plan on carrying on your luggage)

Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum,

Mario Badescu Rose Hip Nourishing Oil,

fresh Aloe Vera.

and Evian bottled water.

Step 2:
Add one full dropper of Mario Badescu Vitamin E Serum into the empty water spray bottle.

Step 3:
Add 10-20 drops of Mario Badescu Rose Hip Nourishing Oil.
Note that this 'oil' is not actually oily. However, for those with oilier skin, you can most definitely  leave out this ingredient if you wish.

Step 4:
Break open fresh Aloe Vera, peel skin, and scoop up some gel into bottle. It's up to you how much to put in - I generally like putting a couple of fingernail sized pieces in there.

Step 5:
Fill the rest of the water spray bottle with Evian bottled water.

Step 6:
Put top back on water spray bottle and shake vigorously and spray away!

Feels good, doesn't it?
Enjoy! :)

Cream Bat Wing Top + Pink Mini Skirt

Most gorgeous weather in San Francisco today! I decided to soak up the sun in a lil off the shoulder smolder action paired with this pink semi-tiered mini skirt that I've had for about ten years. Is that considered vintage?! My skirt being at least ten years old?! Hmmm... well shoot, let's hear from the peanut gallery: how old does something have to be in order for it to be considered vintage?

Obviously I was a a supreme ballerina in my past life. Duh.

White Pants.

I've been totally waiting to wear white pants for the past two weeks and instead of the weather warming up  - it decided to do quite the opposite! We're expecting snow in the Bay Area which is unheard of! To go with the flow, I've decided that my need for white pants is now inspired by the white crisp snow that we'll be seeing this weekend. Enjoy!
