The Holiday Choice.

It starts with Halloween...

the candy!

Nom, nom, nom.

Then comes Thanksgiving...

the turkey, butter, mashed potatoes, pie!

Nom, nom, nom.

Holiday parties...

Wine spritzers (I'm a mom, I'm allowed) and whisky!

Slurp, slurp, slurp. (I'm really not that loud when I drink, I swear.)

Christmas...

Anything I can get my hands on!

Nom, nom, nom.

Then there's the ringing in of the New Year...

More champagne!

Slurp, slurp, slurp.

You think it's over, and maybe it is for you, but come January, it's hubby's birthday then mine...

Drinks, cakes, and good food, oh my!

Nom, nom, slurp, slurp, nom, nom.

Times like these call for a closetful of black dresses.
None basic, mind you.
But man, can those black dresses hide some holiday eating like no other.

Here are some of my inspirations:

Oh, hello.
Yes, it's true, you can, in fact, inspire yourself. :)

My daily posts have morphed into to weekly posts.
Ay yay yay.

I feel like such a slacker.
My sincerest apologies for slowing down.
I've been working non-stop on a big project that's currently top secret.

DIY Glitter Booties.

I've always loved glitter, sparkly things (diamonds - yes please!), and well, basically anything that catches your eye. There's something just so fun about living in a fantasy land filled with all things shiny. In my world, it's L M N OK to strut in crazy ass disco balls for your daily a.m. iced soy mocha. If you feel like sharing the same morning glory, here's a little glimpse into  how to create fantastical Disco Booties yourself:

1) First find cute, comfortable(!), inexpensive booties.
Mine are from H&M and cost about $35.

2) Find some spray glitter in the color of your choice.
I picked silver and bought mine from Michael's.

3) Put masking tape around the areas that you don't want glitterfied.

4) The fumes of the glitter spary are horrendous so make sure you're in a place that well ventilated, like outside. Then spray evenly from about a foot away. Let dry for 15 minutes, then add 1-3 more coats, depending on how sparkly you want your tootsies to be.

And Voila!

Packages.

Do you want to hear something totally bonkers?
Well, if you're already reading this, you already are!

So I'm the type of gal who get super excited about packages arriving.
I received test tube last Friday.
I've been crazy off the charts busy and literally could not find the time to enjoy opening the
New Beauty Test Tube October Package
until last night. That's 4 days of waiting - a new record.
Man, oh man, my schedule has never been more jam packed. But yet, here I am, taking my time, writing to my lovely blogheads. I actually had to write in a  block off time to do this post!

Back to the point - I'm sharing my stash with y'all.
Although I haven' had the opportunity to try 'em all yet, here's what came in the good bag:

Garnier® Skin Renew Clinical Dark Spot Corrector

I like the smell and feel of this product. Let's just hope it works! I'll keep y'all posted in a couple of weeks when results are expected.

Hydroxatone® 90 Second Wrinkle Reducer & Instant Wrinkle Filler

LashFood® Nano-Peptide, Natural Eyelash Conditioner

Kneipp® Herbal Bath

Who doesn't want lavendar oils around? It always makes me feel instantly relaxed and pampered, like I'm at a spa.

Ahava® Extreme Day Cream & Essential Daily Moisturizer

Moroccanoil® Glimmer Shine

I'm super excited to try this! I currently use S Factor's Shiny Happy People - and I love it, but I'm willing to give this product a shot.
