One... Two... Three

At this point, adrenaline is not just running through my veins, it has fully replaced my blood. I've been working like a mad woman on actualizing a passion project these past few weeks so I thought I would take a nice vacation. Ahhhhh... wouldn't that be fantastic if I had time for that? In the meantime, I've decided to try an emulate relaxation mode by sporting this dress I picked up in Bali. A nice breezy light cotton dress makes for a good pretend mental vacay.

PS - I'm all island out - my bracelet is from Boracay, Philippines.
Oh yeah, it's a true vacay outfit now, homies.

Date night with the hubby - sexy time, oh yeah! Ew, TMI, Marie. TMI.  For a split second I wanted to get all dolled up and go to the gorgeous Meritage at the Claremont in Oakland. A couple of hours beforehand, I realized I wasn't in the mood to play dress up. All I wanted to do was be with Mikie and talk, laugh and just hang at a casual romantic restaurant. And that's exactly what we did, my friends. It had been too long since we had a solid block of time, and so we exchanged stories, food and kisses.
I love that man so much.
Romance is alive and kickin.

Event hopping calls for layers.
This is where all my Man Repeller stalking comes in handy - Leandra is a layerin whiz! Of course, my layering skills are much more conservative and tamer that hers, at least this time around.
Walking around in the cold going from place to place, I started soff fully loaded (uh, not that kind of loaded - that comes later in the evening ;) ). Layers are all ON. I always view my outfit in its layered stages since once  I'm at the events, and consume a couple glasses of Proseco, I slowly peel off each layer. Cue stripper music. Not!

Jacket not pictured. D'oh.
Ya know my long kimono hot pink vintage jacket? Imagine that over le outfit.
Now, good job using your imagination, kiddies :)

Three Piece Angle.

I didn't get the best of sleep last night and I promised my baby girl, Daisy, that I'd take her to Lawrence Hall of Science in Berkeley today. Ugh. I felt like poopy head McGee and decided to take the lazy girls route by wearing jeans. And I do not wear jeans often! Nothing wrong with denim - it's just that it's so overdone and there are so many many many many other options out there - why just stick to the basics?  I do love me some jean wearin time once in a while and today I unabashedly pull out the I'm a busy mom, wife, entrepreneur, and lover of life. So there. Ha!

Here's today's choice from a three piece angle:

Rings, street vendor
Sweater, H&M
Top, Gap
Jeans, Miss Sixty
Shoes, custom Converse

Thanks, Dad!

This big ole dress shirt is my dad's from eons ago - vintage Christian Dior - score! You can't really see the details (sorry for the poor quality photos) but there are very thin red pin stripes. It's so wonderful and beautiful and made to last a lifetime. I've loved this shirt for as long as I can remember - on my dad and on me.  And as much as I love my F21 and H&M shopping sprees, I'm very aware that I won't be passing any of those trendy little pieces down to my daughter. Which is totally fine - sometimes it's good to live in the moment! But I'd like to thank my Mom & Dad for having good taste and for occasionally buying the good stuff to pass down to their kiddies (that's four boys and one glorious girl - ME)! I'm really hoping to purchase a few key items to be able to pass along to mine, too.
By the way, been totally jonesin (and needing --- I swear!) a new investment purse - any suggestions ladies?

PS - Sorry for the static-y shots, taken with my mac attack in my home office.

Ooo baby, baby, it's a plaid world...

Hugs and Kisses to my favoritest hubby, Mikie
-favoritest? Wait, what? Like I've got more than one? Nah, it's just me being a goober-
for having the best selection of men's clothes that he so graciously lets me raid all the time. Ha! Poor guy doesn't even know it until it's too late.

Hubby's closet is great when I'm:

A) feeling bloated
B) need to instantly expand my wardrobe
C) I just feel like you've got nothing to wear
D) I want to feel petite ;)
E) I miss him
F) all of the above

Today, I'm going with A, D, and E!

What's your #1 reason for invading the hubby/boyfriends closet?

Who Are You?

Who are you?, hubby asked as I strutted through the door after a night out with one of my girlfriends.
Why, it's me fabu alter ego, Talulah - duh!
She a little
                     tougher
                                      sexier
                                                      edgier
          sassier
                                                                              with a whole lotta confidence.

Oh. Yeah.

Ingredients to make one large batch of crazy Talulah:
faux bangs (aren't they rockin?!), some form of leopard print, red lips, lined eyes, and a flash of le body.

What's your alter ego like? What does she wear?

The End.
Get it?!
The End?
'Cuz it's the end of the series and I ended it with my patootie?
Yeah, I thought you got it.
You're smart like that yo.
