Hair Boredom.

It's official! Ze hair is just zare - eet iz borink!
Ah, yes, every gal goes through the need to change her 'do at least once a year, or is that just me? I love that I can currently tie my hair up and do cute braids but I am dying for something new in my life. What shall I do?!

Was thinking about the big bang theory, but then I remembered how high maintenance they are. Ugh. Instead, I got clip on bangs for whenever I get the urge but it's still not quite the same as getting them fully chopped.

Then, aha!, I thought about getting a cute lil' bob, which I've done before, and remembered that that, too, is high maintenance, although it looks super slammin and temptin on Riri.

Maybe I should dye it a fun color. Perhaps cartoon red? A la Rihanna, Paramore, etc? But I hear the brighter the color, the more intense the upkeep. Why must I be so damn lazy?! I really wish I could be one of those gals who takes the time to get my hair did everyday, but, alas, that ain't the style of this one.

So what am I left with, ladies? I want easy (there's that magic word again!), wash and go hair that I can play with. I'm dying for suggestions! Please, let me know what y'all thinketh this lady should do with her 'mane.

This is what I be lookin' like au naturals:
Mama Mia! Das a lotta hairs!

Fruity Tootie Salad.

Here's an insanely easy fabu way to spruce up your favorite fruit combo,
add a tid bit of le ole spice:
 cinnamon

It adds a sweet little kick and turns any old fruit into a prize winning dessert. My fave flavors are mango, kiwi and strawberry (not pictured). Y U M M E R S.

PS - Um, can someone please tell me how long I've had this my pattern of utilizing the word easy in my posts?! Apparently it's everywhere: easy hair, easy dressing, easy food prep, easy, easy, easy. I'm starting to think that I'm either lazy or perhaps, in an era of redefining terminology into the positive for the overly sensitive (does that even make sense?!; it makes sense in my head, I swear!), just efficient and effective.

Long Brown Cowl Neck Dress

My friend, Anne Marie, and I went out to dinner last night and had a whopping good time! Let's just say it took MAJOR effort to roll out of bed this morning, and trying to piece something decent to wear, well that wasn't really at the top of my list. BUT, my dear creatures of the night, thank goodness for easy breezy statement dresses! Make sure you've always got one in your closet you can throw on whenever you've got the case of the smushy mornin brain.

Summer Mani Pedi.

More often than not, I like to keep my fanger nails more of a neutralish shade (unless it's a nice saucy red). I love the way that this glitterfied disco disco color adds a little sparkle (sparkle party! sparkle party!) to all my outfits without being overpowering. For my funky little tooties, this va-va-voom color shouts out HELLO to all those who dare to take a peep. ;) Just as important as color is a good adhesive base coat (easier to remove polish if you put this on first) and I finish off the chip free look with this award winning top coat (makes it dry a million times faster - promise!).

Hair Lovin.

Jonesin this hairstyle but not sure how to achieve this messy pretty 'do.It looks simple enough but I know it's more complicated than meets the eye (like every woman in the entire universe!). Any hair peeps out there who can give us a little step-by-step shout out? Much obliged for your potential genius insight. :)

What to wear with the hair:
Bandeau bikini. Oh la la!
Pair with long maxi dress. Boho goddess.
Add jeans and simple plain top. Modern 70's casualness.

Maximize girlyness with a frilly short lace dress. Look out world!

UPDATE: Thanks to Stephanie Singon for showing us the way! Or at least pointing us to a youtube video on how to do the Waterfall Braid. :)

Today's Special: Grayish Mauvish Dress + Plaid Shirt

My wardrobe magically expands when I dip into fabulous hubby's closet. Oh my beloved hubby slash photographer, Mikie Lee, thank you for always lending me your awesomacular cardiovascular econmicasticular testicular pieces of clothing (whether you like it or not!). Always nice to know you can dress down a n y t h i n g, anything at all!, with your significant other's flannel.

By the way, what's up with the flannelicualrs? Is it retro, is it new?! If you remember wearing it the first time around, oh, say about 20 years ago (HOLY SHENANIGANS! Did I just say t w e n t y?!), it's definitely retro...for you - you old fart! If not, well, welcome ya young-in to one of the newest trends in lazy dressing - Instylation approved!

PS - I don't know how, but (HEAVEN FORBID!) Mikie managed to somehow make my legs seems short in these shots. :( I guess he's some sort of magician dat one.
Awwwwww, not to worry poor Voices in My Head (aka Ego), we'll make up for that next time around with high wattage leg power!

All covered up.
Surfing.
Sunlight.
Ain't nuthin but a gangsta!
Normalish.
If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear flowers in your hair.
